Le Havre → Lagos

Vehicle export to Lagos

The Lagos port complex, built around the Apapa and Tin Can Island terminals, is Nigeria's busiest and one of West Africa's most heavily used.

Nigeria applies its own vehicle import regulations, particularly regarding vehicle age and customs duties. We recommend checking the applicable conditions with the Nigerian authorities before confirming a shipment.

Shipping a vehicle to Lagos

Two shipping modes are available to Port of Lagos — Apapa and Tin Can Island terminals. The RoRo vessel suits a roadworthy vehicle shipped on its own; the container protects the vehicle and allows personal effects or goods to be loaded around it.

We handle picking up the vehicle in Europe, the export customs formalities and loading in Le Havre. Import customs clearance is the responsibility of the recipient or their local freight forwarder.
