Data we collect

We only collect the data you voluntarily provide to us, namely that entered in the quote request form:

• first and last name
• e-mail address
• phone number
• vehicle information and destination port
• the free-text content of your message

Purpose and legal basis

This data is used solely to process your request, prepare a quote and respond to you.

The legal basis for this processing is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request, within the meaning of article 6.1.b of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Recipients

Your data is processed by staff responsible for handling commercial requests.

It may be shared with providers strictly necessary to carry out the requested service (shipping line, port terminal, road carrier), and only if you confirm a shipment.

It is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising purposes.

Retention period

Requests that did not result in a shipment are kept for three years from the last contact, then deleted.

Data relating to a shipment that was actually carried out is kept for as long as required by applicable accounting and customs obligations.

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability.

To exercise these rights, write to info@auto-export-europe.com specifying your request. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Data submitted via the form travels encrypted.

No payment is made on this site and no banking data is collected there.

Transfers outside the European Union

If hosting the site or routing e-mails involves transferring data outside the European Union, the relevant provider and transfer mechanism must be indicated here before the site goes live.
